Matt Levy OAM and Ozzie have partnered again to provide the opportunity for young Para athletes to benefit from Matt’s experience as one of Australia’s most respected and successful swimmers.

An exciting opportunity for young para-athletes aged 7-12 years living with a disability, this scholarship is designed to provide both financial support and invaluable mentoring to the next generation of para-athletes.

Scholarship Overview

Matt Levy OAM, one of Australia’s most celebrated and successful swimmers, has again teamed up with Ozzie to offer this incredible scholarship. As a five-time Paralympian, Matt understands the challenges and triumphs of the journey to success, and he is eager to share his knowledge with young athletes. 

The Keen Kids Scholarship will offer:

- $3,000 AUD in Financial Support: Two scholarships will be awarded, with $1,500 AUD each to one male and one female para swimmer.
- Mentoring Opportunities: Recipients will have access to Matt’s success framework through a video breakdown of the 7 Easy Steps To Get Where You Want, as outlined in Matt’s book, Brandon Dreams Big. Additionally, live video mentoring sessions will cover key themes like overcoming adversity, building resilience, and celebrating small victories. Parents and guardians are also invited to participate, with dedicated video sessions focusing on how best to support young athletes.

Scholarship Details

- Eligibility: Open to para swimmers aged 7–12 years old living in Oceanic countries.
- Application Period: Opens on 28th August 2024, coinciding with the start of the Paralympics, and closes on 15th September 2024.
- Notification: Successful applicants will be notified during the week of 16th September 2024.
